List a bit about every car you've owned Me, starting with the beginning... Though I haven't owned that many cars to begin with over my lifespan, I have a decent spread...

1.)98 V6 Camaro: At least it had a five speed! It was also nice, because as a 16 year old I kept my foot planted, and the V6 allowed me to do this while remaining fully within the confines of the law It was dark metallic green, and shuddered like a truck over uneven pavement. Still, it was a practical (for me)/stylish (I always liked the 4th gen shape, even if they're whales) enough car that I occasionally wish I still had it, just so I'd have a car that I didn't have to care about; for that, not such a bad choice, though not the ideal.

Sold to finance the Lotus...

2.)55 Chevy: mild 70s 350, 4 spd. Semi-inherited from my father when he got sick of driving cars without power accessories, AC etc... Been in the family for ages. It is what it is, it's among the most reliable cars I've owned, and I can lock a couple shortboards in the back and look the part at the beach

3.)86 Lotus turbo Esprit: Unique, WONDERFUL steering (with no weight over the front wheels), but everything stereotypical about race-bred, 80s turbo 4cyls applies... No practical torque, plenty of lag etc. Very unique, with all of the positives and negatives associated... In the end, not quite worth keeping up with the maintenance bills, though I'm glad I got to experience such a car (as a daily driver even)

Still have it but feel divorced from it, every once in a while try to sell it for good, but waiting on the econ...

4.)80 Triumph TR7: ...It's an 80s Triumph. Thusly, it has not been on the road often enough to give a solid impression. 80hp ohv 4 cyl, solid rear axle... Plaid interior. Currently in cryostasis.

5.)02 Chevy Blazer: ...What do you drive to work the other 70% of the time, when you own an 80 Triumph TR7 and a Lotus Esprit (implied in the shop)? Horrible, horrible, creaky, plastic, numb steering, gas guzzling... I took my driver's test in a 96 Blazer that was worlds apart from this one.

Gave it to a cousin to whom I think it was a blight as well... But I think it got cash/clunkered for four times what it was worth, to finance a brand new Kia. Still, the memories in that car.

6.)75 280Z: I've written enough about it; I love it, best all-around car I've ever experienced.

In order:

'91 Nissan 240SX Coupe.....KA24DE. Got it for $550 and alls it needed was a clutch. Drove it for a while and got rid of it. Frame rails were rotted out, had body/door damage.


'91 Volkswagen Jetta GLi.....I loved this car so much. It came with BBS mesh wheels stock, Recaro seats stock from the factory. 16v 2.0L, 5spd. I did quite abit of work to it. Replaced everything and then added some H&R Cup kit to it. 2" drop in the front and 1.7" in the rear, with a 2.25" exhaust with DTM muffler. Got sideswiped by a drunk driver and the insurance co. totaled the car out....



'06 Nissan Sentra 1.8S.....Was a dependable daily driver. Did some basic bolt ons to it. Autocrossed it and drove it all over the place.




'87 Chrysler Conquest.....my first project car. NSRZ32 found it on craigslist down in Columbus, so I drove down there and wanted to have it. Trailered it back cause it needed a clutch. Loved it. My first turbo car, I was hooked since then with the turbo bug. Car came pretty well equipped: 14b turbo, wiseco pistons, hks turbo timer, gauges, 3" downpipe.... Ended up putting a ACT 4puck clutch in it with a heavy duty pressure plate. Had some driveability issues with it so I sold it to my brother.





'71 Datsun 240z....After a mis-attempt at picking up a 320 pu, NSRZ32's brother came across this in the paper. Guy wanted 1500 for it. Checked it out at night, in the middle of the ghetto at a impound lot....man was I crazy to buy it. I fell in love though soon as I saw it. Had to have it. Told him I'd give him 1400 for it and he said cool. Done some maint to it but other then that just been enjoying it. Will be going under the knife for a L28ET swap w/ 5spd this winter.

'99 Ford F-250 Super Duty XLT......Turbo diesel. I traded my Sentra in on this after wanting a truck since I was younger. Came with aftermarket wheels and tires, visor, tonneau cover, and a programmer. Now it's my daily driver. Running 24lbs of boost, has a 4" turbo back exhaust...etc. Just done some maint on it...batteries, alternator, ICP sensor, rear brakes....I love it



So now I only own the s30 and the truck. Enough to keep me occupied.

1. 1986 Honda Civic 3dr. Strangely considering it was my first car, I have no pics of it! But it had the now-common starter mods of a custom exhaust, koni shocks and el-cheapo 13in alloy wheels.

2. '63 Bug. Cal-look style, but with flares 930-style fenders (even had teh 930 stoneguard decal on the front of each rear guard). 1640cc overbore, twin Solex carbs, 009 Bosch ignition, 1.25 ratio rockers. Entered my first hillclimb in it, came second last. Behind a girl. Sold it not long after.


3. 1989 AE92 Corolla SX. Aussie 4AGE twin cam sports model, got into motorsport a lot more seriously with this car, was muuuuuuuuch faster than the Bug! Kept it pretty stock.


4. 1986 AE86 Corolla Sprinter. Aussie model, upgraded with the JDM powertrain and all kinds of neat stuff. Was a great drifter and track car, but I was bit too much of an early adopter, I sold it in the mid 90s, before Initial D and Takumi Tax was invented.


5. 1981 DR30 Skyline RS Turbo. Great car, when it worked. It started life as a NA coupe, but I used a turbo sedan donor car and made it the best of both worlds. Turbine-kitted T3, HKS exhaust, Koni coilovers, Nismo LSD....popped the engine (long story), rebuilt it in my parents' garage, was meant to take my motorsport to a new level after the AE86 but there was something wrong with it most of the time. Sold it after only doing 2 events in 18mths (as opposed to 18 events in 2mths...which was more normal for me).


6. 1994 Toyota Soarer GT. 4.0L V8 model, lowered on Bilsteins and AVS wheels, loud custom exhaust and intake. Strangely, while I loved this car...don't have any pics of it either!

7. 2000 DC2R Integra Type R. So fast on a track, and my first brand new car....so didn't track it much given that I was too scared to scratch it Kept it stock.


8. 1994 MX5 Clubman. The Clubman is an Aussie derivative, which means no power steering, Bilsteins and torsen LSD. Loved this car, kept it for 6yrs and modified the hell out of it with JDM parts (back then I was in Japan maybe 3 times a year). Tracked it straight away, then drifted it...then rebuilt it when it was almost totally worn out and abused and retired it from motorsport.


9. 1986 HC3S Luce Rotary Turbo Royal Classic. Not sure why I bought this...saw it in a junkyard and got it for virtually nothing, then had to rebuild pretty much every part of it. Was my daily drive for 3yrs, 13B turbo, Mazdaspeed LSD, coilovers all having a culture clash with the digital instruments, powered velour seats and in-car drinks fridge. Pretty rare, only a few hundred made in full limo-excess specification.

sold it in 2008 for paying the wedding bills....

paint it up and sold it for $1000...but repairs n paint job cost me $800

after that got me the 1983 mitsu lancer SL for $1600...

3. 80' chevy full-size short-box van, old bell telephone van that was in service until 97' planned on having it slammed, but I sold it...

4. 03' mazda B3000 dual sport ( ranger edge ) 3.0 v6 5spd 2'' lift had some super strange low low gearing, 1st was good til ~15 mph when on it, 4500 @ 70 mph sold it, tired of rebuilding driveshafts after 4 tries...

5. 94' chevrolet beretta z26 by far, the fastest car I've owned (had it pegged out couple times, ssshhhhh!!!) 3.1 v6, cam'd, chip'd, full exhaust, headers, shift kit, intake, ported heads, stall converter, 2'' drop on coilovers(not pictured), sway bars, end links, etc etc... bought the car for $300, put 3k into it, motor gave up on it, lost intrest, sold it to a guy around the corner for a grand, he swapped in a series III s/c motor from a bonneville and now runs 11s on spray spinning the whole way








6. 82' datsun maxima, bought it the day before my birthday, 2-18-09. bought CHEAP from the 2nd owner w/ 110k miles on it, said he got from a little old lady @ 89k back in 2004-5... all stock for now, some interior stuff, and s-15 steel wheels, soon to be dropped. maybe a hot motor swap in the distant future.....

001 - "Suzi" - 1977 TC Holden/Isuzu Gemini Coupe. Strong 1.6 with 5spd, weber carb, extractors. Sent to the carpark in the sky when i found 70% of the car was made of body filler. What do you expect for 300bux when your 14?



002 - "Rosie" - 1980 TE Holden/Isuzu Gemini Sedan. Dad had her for 9yrs, gave it to me. Rusty as, had a cracked ring and a spun bearing but still did second gear burnouts on the brake at will.



And once we trashed it...



003 - "Emily" - 1976 TX Holden/Isuzu Gemini Coupe. My baby, will never sell this one. Full driveline upgrade, baremetal respray, injected Isuzu 2L with a 525hp roller bearing turbo. 25k down, 6yrs on and im still building it...



004 - "Dara" - 1984 TG Holden/Isuzu Gemini Sedan. Got it for free, cleaned it up, sold it a week later for 600.



005 - "Bianca" - 1993 E36 BMW 318i. My first "real" car, bought it when i got my license @ 18. 5spd manual, handled awesome, went shithouse, was unreliable, my exgf loved it though.



006 - "Sophie" - 1986 Holden/Isuzu Piazza Turbo 5spd manual. Was going to use it as a daily, gave it a respray, cracked the shits with it sold it.

008 - "Laura" - 1975 TX Holden/Isuzu Gemini sedan. Best car i ever owned, should never have sold it. Scored a 2l from a isuzu trooper, weber, 1.6L head, extractors, lightened flywheel. NOTHING i have owned/driven since could stick with this car through bends. Sold it because of too many memories [bloody ex gf]



009 - "Steph" - 2002 Nissan S15 Silvia/200SX. Fastest car ive owned to date, still own it trying to sell the bloody thing.



010 - "Danni" - 1980 TE Holden/Isuzu Gemini sedan. Bought it with front damage, original one owner car. Fixed it, resprayed it, put an EFI G200 DOHC from an Isuzu Piazza in it and it got written off the next day.



011 - "Lexi" - 1978 TD Holden/Isuzu Gemini sedan. Bought off a lil old lady again, dropped the DOHC in this one then promptly blew it up. Building an EFI G161 Turbo for it, should run low 12's. This is my daily.



Thats 11 cars and im not even 23 yet, and only one was in an accident [bonnet sprung open @ 100kmh]. Looking at going half-half with dad in a 4X4 ute which will make 12...

76 Opel by Isuzu (was my mom's but it blew up and I wanted it, so she gave it to me) rebuilt the engine in my bedroom, got it running, my friend convinced me to have the head ported, so I took it off, lost interest, and decided to try sticking a chevy 2.8 v6 in. Never did get to drive the car, owned it for over 10 years and finally decided I was doing nothing with it, so I scrapped it. Still kicking myself to this day.

77 Toyota Corolla station wagon - had some weird overheating problem, never did figure it out, traded the car in. Almost bought another one recently...

At some point in here somewhere I bought an old (75?) Monte Carlo for $50 out of a guy's backyard. My friend and I tried to tow it home, but realized it had no brakes, so we left it on the curb in front of the house. I came back a week later with a tow truck, and the car was gone. Still had to pay the tow truck $40. My $90 mistake.

83 Dodge Omni - bought for $50, needed front end work and a clutch cable, never did it, just traded the car in.

81(?) Renault LeCar (yes, the ragtop) - never got it running right, can't remember right now what became of the car.

84 Honda Prelude - bought for $1500, the Corolla and the Omni were the down payment for this one, ran smooth even though it had probably over 250,000 miles on it (odometer died at 224,xxx), burned/leaked a quart of oil a week, fun to do reverse donuts in the snow. Actually decent off-road oh, yeah, the tranny blew the same week I paid it off. I didn't want to change it, so I sold the car to a friend (who roped me into helping him change the tranny)

94 Hyundai Excel - damn good car. Beat the sh!t out of it and it got 30-33 mpg in town. Had it for 5 years, lots of memories. I'd have another one. Donated it when I couldn't get it to pass emmissions anymore. I think the computer was just going out.

96 Isuzu Rodeo - bought it because we were planning a family, but it was too hard on gas, so I traded it in for a...

2001 Pontiac Grand Am - nice to have something newer like that, had it for abut 5 years, but I couldn't afford to keep up the payments, so I sold it.

69 Volkswagen Beetle - rusted!!! I think I was just excited to buy my first bug, and I didn't know what to look for. Drove it for 2 years, then pulled the engine and scrapped the car.

72 Volkswagen Super Beetle - current daily driver for the last ~4 months. So far, it's ok, but I'm realizing that I don't like the way they're put together, and I want to trade it for an Opel by Isuzu so I can get it right this time.

I know I'm forgetting something, I thought I had more than that...

1972 Datsun PL510 (Green 4-door)

Here is my list of vehicles, mostly cars but I'll add my 2 motorcycles as well.

'66 Oldsmobile 98. This was my first car. Drove it through highschool and college. I still own it though it is in more of a project state right now.

'82 Honda Super Cub. Bought it for $250 on impulse while in Kansas. It is the toughest little scooter and easily my most reliable vehicle. I've had it 4 years and ridden it 10,000 miles, mostly on dirt roads, with just oil changes and a few flat inner tubes. I could never sell it.

'80 Datsun 210 wagon. My most missed car. I only had it about 7 months. Beautifull completely rust free body but many mechanical problems (burning oil, worn out rear axle, dead synchro's in the transmission). Drove it 160 miles a day. Sold it when 5th gear started going out.

'65 Honda S90. Bought it in a pile of parts. Rebuilt it and rode it for a while. Really fun little motorcycle that always drew attention. Had some sort of charging difficulty that I did not feel like messing with so I sold it.

'96 Buick Park Avenue. Replaced my Datsun 210 for my 160 mile commute. I think I may be the youngest person to willingly buy one of these at 22 years old. Nice and comfy with great gas mileage for such a big car.

'81 Chevrolet 3/4 ton pickup. A stupid impulsive purchase. Ended up swapping the engine out after the one in it died a month after I bought it. Rusty oil burning crap but it was fun to knock around the dirt roads in. Even drove it from Kansas to Texas and back a few times using about 5 quarts of oil each time.

'97 GMC Safari. Bought new by my parents. Given to me free with 200,000 miles on it. It still looks and runs really good though. Now has about 220,000 with no major engine work ever. My current driver.
