So I picked up my pre ordered copy of Gt 6 on Friday.

The game has Toyota Celica XX, Celica (daruma), Nissan S110 Silvia, C110 Skyline and Bluebird 910 to name a few.
(910 looks great on a set of TE37v's).
However no Mazda Sa22c RX-7's are there or RX-3's. (Hoping these are in an update).

I think it also needs a street version of the S110 or an S12.
(Laurel SGX, I could keep going).

a good 99% of them seem to be low rez models/texture cars though.

Some game company should make a specific JDM racing game. Need for speed had it porch edition way back when. Think of what they could make with all the classic J-tin. I would probably buy the console and the game just to play.

Two games (old) to keep in mind if you are looking to drive virtual JNC's.

Tokyo Extreme Racer Racer Drift 2 - S12, Sa22c, Sunny B110 pickup & Laurel C33 (On PS2).
Auto Modelista - TE27 Corolla, Sa22c and Mitsubishi Colt (On PS2).

These games are why I still have my PS2.

Not sure how many people know of this website, but I find it fun to browse around:
http://www.igcd.net/?width=1280

The Internet Games Cars Database. It's not as comprehensive as I would like it to be and a lot of newer games haven't made it in yet (like GT6), but it's a good way of searching for what J-Tin was in what game. For example, a search for Mazda Cosmo lets me know that it was in GT5, Sega GT 2002, Sega GT Online, Enthusia Professional Racing, and a bunch of Choro Q games. I know it was in GT6 too and there are probably a few more games not listed, but it's still an interesting resource!

Cheers,
David

I have a question.
If I can get a chin spoiler for my 70's Challenger why can't I get one for my 1970 Celica.
(Does anybody play online? It would be great if there was one for the Celica).

That was a cool link you posted Nakazoto.

You can get a chin spoiler for the Challenger because it's a premium model but the Celica is only a standard model. Premium models usually have a few different customization options but standard models only get generic spoilers.

So it is the same as Granturismo 5.
(No aero parts for used cars).

They got rid of the whole used car system for GT6 but you're still pretty much right. Now to tell standard cars apart from premiums, they have a little info box that tells you if the interior is detailed or simple.
