I've been researching some seating options for my '78 280z and I can not believe the amount of fake racing seats out there. For instance, if you google 'fake recaro seat' to learn how to tell a real one from a fake the third search result recommendation is 'fake recaro seat for sale'. That means there is actually a market for fake seats, sad day. I don't get it. Why must people sacrifice safety and quality for a cheap product that looks cool. Why not buy a used authentic (or broken in rather lol). Sorry for the vent.

btw any tips on identifying knock offs or sites to stay away from are appreciated
