Okay, so I was at the Year One show ( monthly ) here in Braselton, GA.

Muscle car stuff - full of classic and modern camaro's, mustangs, GTO's, a few random british cars - you get the idea.

Anywho, I was walking with my buddies when I saw a japanese nolstalgic coming around into the lane we were in and I was like hey check out this datsun coming down the la-.... no f-ing WAY, you have GOT to be SHITTING me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup. Classic Nissan Skyline - guy had it imported through a company in California. I wish I had gotten more photos of it, but the crowd that had come around it due to it being RHD ( you gotta understand, GA, rednecks... it was something beyond different for them ) the thing was freaking MINT!

Holy crap...that must pretty much be the last car you'd expect to see in the Year One carpark :)

Here's one for the other Hako aficionados...but is that a short wheelbase 4cyl KC10? I just noticed that the "Skyline" badge is on the rear and there doesn't look to be enough room for it in the normal location (which would mean a short 4cyl fender)

I think this is the short nose skyline Rhd Japan brought in with my skyline. It is a 4 cyl. Very cool. It's basically identical in size to a 510 coupe. Rhd japan had the two cars at the same time. I thought they shared the same platform, but was told they didn't.

Dude, THATS the car!!! I was thinking of how I could explain the front end because it wasn't as aggressive was what your typical KC10 looks like

Interesting how the fender mirrors end up right at the front of the car because of the short nose.

It's like a hako that's been put through a hotwash and shrunk a bit.

Very cool.

The 4cyl. Skylines were Leaf Spring, Solid rear. Definitely a different setup to the Bluebird. You can see the leaves in at least one of those shots.

I would hazard a guess that the 4cylinder C10 is more rare than the 6 as it definitely appears so in the case of the C110.

If Year One can start to stock Hakosuka restoration parts, things will get a lot easier for us :D

Long shot in the dark here, and slightly off topic, I have heard the 510 wagons can use roadster rear leaf springs. I wonder if this 4cyl Skyline uses the same or similar springs?

That is a cool find.
