arg i still need to export my pictures. my only complaint is all the cool cars i like aren't "premium cars"..would be nice if they had some old school aftermarket wheels to put on there.

We need to start a list of everyone's PSN usernames, so we can do some JNC free runs online and keep each other updated on projects. 8)

So, would you guys say this game justifies buying a PS3? I've heard pros and cons about this game. (and yes I've been playing my "outdated" Forza 3 (lol) , BUT I bought the original playstation for the first GT back in '97 or whenever it was)

Yes and no. If you're a hardcore fan of the series, I'd say go for it. The long wait means that people are picking apart any and all problems but the fact of the matter is it's got a lot of cool new features and it's a huge step forward for the series. If funds permit, i'd say buy it. :tu:

Forza 3 kills it in so many areas.
+Forza has the on the run vehicle stats (suspension, engine, tyres, damage)
+Forza lets you paint your car any colour, lets you put any wheels on any car
+Forza has in car views for all the cars
+Forza lets you look around the outside of your car in a race
+Forza has actual damage and looks "realistic" and affects car performance
+Forza has upgrade parts scaled to the price of the car. Eg, suspension for a civic costs heaps less than a ferrari. In GT5 they cost the same for every car

But GT5 has cool tyre smoke. And you can take photos off easier. And the graphics are ok (Except the shadows and the wheel arches on standard cars v )

Oh, and in the time I was waiting for GT5, Ive finished FM2 a couple of times and FM3 a couple of times too.

the premium cars show really good realism, then again ive never done forza and it needs an xbox, but yeah the amount of cars they have in gt, makes u wait for them, but its a bit dissapointing that they didnt try to convert most of the dash textures into realism, although i know doing 800 more is quite a task, but yeah , could always hire more hands i guess

my c63 amg, mimics the c200k i have in real life

well its all subjective. my complaint about forza is the physics are not realistic at all and its like a arcade game, lose interest quick. gt5 has its issues, but i think its a solid game. hopefully we can see some improvements from online updates.

What's unrealistic about the physics in FM3?

I don't want to take a side for either game (since I play FM3 often and own GT4, haven't played GT5). I don't see what's so off about the physics, though. I can't stand the strange "snap oversteer" you get in GT4 after you drift. I've not had a problem with that in FM2 or 3. Maybe it's because I use a wheel with FM and a controller with GT?

GT has a buncha old obscure cars I've had that FM doesn't have. I don't care much about dashboard views so much as accurate handling.

nah, you get the snap understeer in gt4 with whatever controller you use. part of the reason im so happy with gt5 is they fixed that and made improvements. for FM3 im not sure i can explain, almost like its too easy to fly around a corner at crazy speeds.

I snap up every nostalgic car that comes up for sale no matter what it is.

The one car I want the most is an Iron Mask DR30... have not seen one for sale yet, plenty of the non-iron mask though.
