 Post subject: Help with identifying fender mirrors?

Hi guys,

I did a search hoping to find a thread about the different kinds of fender mirrors but nothing came up, so I thought I'd ask for some help.

Does anyone know what this style mirrors come from, or what car they are meant to go on?

I would like a pair for my Datsun, but I want to check first if they are model specific for another type of JNC, don't wanna get it wrong! :lol:

I am 99.9% sure those are aftermarket mirrors, not OEM. I've seen similar mirrors referred to as "Napoleon" mirrors and "Phantom GT" mirrors.

They do look very similar to the Bluebird/240Z/Sunny mirrors from 70-73.

If they're aftermarket then that's cool, I just didn't wanna be that guy who puts Toyota mirrors on a Datsun :lol:

No, those are mango mirrors so they're Toyota :)

GT Phantom has 3 holes in the stem and the stem itself is adjustable sideways.

Only seen a few Mangos that had holes in the mirrors though. Aftermarket still gets my vote. :tu:

But what do I know, I'm a Datsun guy... :P

I used to have them both.

Many early type KE20s here had the 2-hole mirrors. Some KP31s also had them.

Why don't you buy 510 own bullet mirrors?
Plenty of them where you found the white mirrors :D
