One of our own is suffering at the moment due to the lost of his prized project. Let's all be in the look out for this car and please be sensitive about matter. I know how much the owner worked really hard on this car. I hope the car is recovered unharmed and returned to you soon. I feel your pain M.

which is a reminder for us all that the age of the car is not an exception from car theives. they'll steal anything if we let our guard down even for a second. :(

i hope it gets recovered.

Thanks for all the support guys. Finally got the car back, picked it up from the impound and have been going through it to see what was taken. So far it's not as bad as I thought it would be. From the engine the ITB's, cams, cam covers, and HKS cam gears were taken. In the interior the TRD bucket seats, TRD harness, Tom's steering wheel, and Autopower rollbar, along with some interior panels and trim are gone. Body wise the FOHA lip, S grill, light housings and headlights were taken. The Wats, Comps, and Tom's are gone, but they left it with some decent Baby Supras. There's a couple of dents where the thieves desperately tried to take the fender mirrors and failed, they even attempted to take off the front fenders but were not successful. Surprisingly the suspension and bumpers were left intact. Anyway, hopefully anything stolen starts showing up locally but I just ask that everyone keep an eye out and let me know if they come across anything from my car.

Lastly I want to say is thanks for posting this up, and all the support. I'm 100% positive if it wasn't for everyone keeping an eye out and the pressure on that the end result could have been much worse. I had plenty of time to think what I would do if I ever was lucky enough to get the car back, it might take some time but the car will be back and hopefully 10x better.

lucky you sir you still got the car back! most likely the parts will get sold by the thieves.

maybe if we engrave our names on the parts it might deter the thieves from selling it.

Great news that you got it back. I was worried about it never showing again. Will your insurance cover any of those items??

It sounds like you have a clean slate to build it even better this time.

Yeah definitely very lucky to have gotten it back in one piece, especially considering that it could have been much worse. It might take some time but everything on the car is easily replaceable or can be made again so no worries. Starting over again will give me a chance to do some things I look back and say I would have changed the first time around. The only thing that kinda stinks is I just finished it up and was planning on starting my 72 Celica project so I might have to push that back till later, we'll see how it goes this winter. I'll definitely make another thread updating the Starlet as I get her back to working order by next year.
