    Not really that shocking. My exhaust looks like that and my car isn't even that low. (3" of clearance)

    The driveshaft notches in the rails were priceless!

    It would make a hell of a racket as you drove along. Surely this would have raise...some...sort of alarm bells?)

    Maybe I'm just desensitized to having notched chassis rails... :? That being said, my car actually drives better than it did standard and there's no structural damage to the underbody.

    I think the tone of the article was that it's way cool to lower your car, but there's a right and a wrong way to do things.

    I'm all for notching the rails, it's the se'f-notching method that I'm not too crazy about

    I used to have self notching rails when I first put in my current suspension setup. :P

    But I'd have to agree there are proper ways to go about things.

    No idea how someone can drive their car for whatever period of time with those axles grinding its own clearance...talk about no love for the car :td:
