    an600 headlight switch

Ok I have a forum member waiting on me to send him parts. Been a out 3 weeks now and I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to pull the head light switch with out breaking any of the dash. I've looked at my parts manuals for an exploded view of the dash to get an idea but they only go back to 73 and this is a 72. Any help would be appreciated. Ted

I assume it is the same as the 1970 AN600. There is a screw holding the knob on. Very small philips on the under side of the Knob shaft. Once it is off the silver ring is next. It unscrews ccw and you pull switch out form the back. There is a white (4) lead connector on the "pigtail" wires.

there is nothing else fastening it. how about some WD-40 and gently twist from the back,ccw/cw. Maybe it over heated and melted to the dash.
