    3sg starter

In the middle of a transplant and was wondering if anyone knows which starter to use?
I have a 3sgte 2nd gen with a 2s bellhousing going into a te27, but was not sure which starter to use. I plan on using a 91-95 MR2 turbo flywheel. Mr2 have starters on tranny side so tgey wont work. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks..

1986-1989 celica gts (usdm) starter rests under the exhaust manifold - not over the transmission.

that setup uses the 3sge and 5sfe flywheel, so your options are as such.

    5sfe flywheel: 225mm
    3sgte flywheel: 236mm

so... if you do not already have the 3sgte flywheel, you could use the 3sge/5sfe (225mm) flywheel with an upgraded clutch kit and the above mentioned 1986-1989 celica gts starter.
