    Bought it back!! Toyota Starlet

So a few years ago I bought this car for 275 bucks because it had no title. I thought to find a super rare car, it would be worth trying to get a lost title. Ran into a LOT of financial trouble with my house and some other issues due to a VERY shady mortgage broker and wound up having to sell the car.

Sold it to a buddy for $400. Well, now two years later, he bought a j-tin corolla wagon and decided to start selling off all his other projects. I got to buy it back for $400 and will not let it get away this time!!!

This was always one of two cars i always considered 'ones that got away'

yeah you said it. I think to start, I'm gutting the interior, finding what I can and cant save. Then stripping all the paint I can and at least getting some rust preventing primer on it.

I'd like to find a spoiler and new badges, fix the dent in the side, fix the brakes, the steering, then once everything looks better and runs nicer, work towards dropping a 4AG in there. The 4-KC (OOOOh California emissions even back then!!!) runs great I just think I'll need a little more oomph, but there is still a stong argument to keep the little gerbil wheel.
