Apex Auto Parts (RX-7 wrecker) - USA

Hey guys, I'm interested to know if anyone from here has dealt with "Apex Auto Parts" before? They are, from all accounts, a Mazda parts specialist located in Oklahoma City.

Got put on to them by another RX-7 owner with regards to certain interior parts that I need for my SA22C restoration (which I haven't yet been able to find anywhere else in the world) - I emailed them last week but have yet to receive any response, so I'm now left wondering if their service is any good.

I'm located in New Zealand btw, which makes it slightly more awkward in terms of contacting them by any other means.

We have a couple members from OKC here. Maybe one of them can check it out for you.

I've bought from them a few times off eBay and got my stuff pretty quickly, but then I'm not too far from them.

They're all used parts, so be sure to get good photos especially for interior pieces.

Orion, Give them a call, remember they are 17 hrs behind NZ so call early in the morning NZ time.
If your after black trim then US spec SA is a good choice but keep in mind USA spec differs from NZ and JDM.

What are you looking for? I am parting out a 79 Limited edition car right now with the black interior. I am keeping some of the stuff as spares, but you are welcome to whatever I don't need. Shipping may be an issue, but we can get past that I bet.

Cheers for the feedback. Still no reply from this company as of yet... pretty close to giving up and just calling them, but I'm still wary of being given the runaround.

Just to make things difficult, the items I'm after only appeared on USDM non-GSL-SE models after 1982, and have to be grey in colour (not black) as this corresponds to what the JDM models changed to after 1981.

(at the risk of sounding like a WTB post, here's the list)

    - stereo/heater control surround
    - digital clock and plug (JDM GT factory option, standard on GT-X and SE-Ltd)
    - handbrake lever grip (the bit that wraps around the release knob)
    - rear 3/4 trim, carpet and wheelarch covers, 2-seater type
    - storage bins and corresponding trim

Oh true, well I've pretty much given up on receiving an email reply from them.

Think I'll ask one of my uncles over in the States to call on my behalf.
