awesome car mang, looks like the body is in nice shape
it needs low bad
Always good to see another Oregonian here. Sweet car, i love those MX32's. I've seen a couple around and I've got my eye on one. Good luck with your build. :tu:
Saw that car on Craigslist, looks dang good. :tu:
Those A3A's dont look too bad on there, just give it a good drop and see where its at.
Thanks guys. Yeah definitely needs to be dropped. Times like these is when I wish I was mad rich and buy every part I wanted. Oh well beggars can't be choosers.
ahh the mighty old 2jz. my question is.. why is alot of mx32 owners doing the n/a 2j swap? why not go a single turbo 1j or 2j? Only reason i could see for the n/a 2j is the fact its "more reliable" but then again we are talking about the jz family.. whats not to love about them!
probably has a lot to do with price and availability, then you have to consider the age of the chassis and the fact that you'd probably want to start reinforcing the car to handle that kind of power. lloyd's car was starting to break up just from the na 2j so slapping in a chassis-twisting turbo motor might not be the best idea.
Ahh yeaah i see. Lucky my 1jz was under a grand.. so was relatively cheap in the grand scheme of things. Yeah thats the only other thing i could physically see as to why not going a turbo jz.. Guess i will have to look into reinforcing my chassis if i intend to drop this 1jz in it.Originally Posted by lolumad
