    1978 Toyota Corona from AZ

Hey 1st time poster, been lurking here but thats all. Just recently bought a 3spd auto 78 corona salvage title for like $760. Tried to drive it home about 46 miles away, never made it 3. everytime I got to 60mph the brake and chg light kept blinking then my temp went way up and steamed like hell. Glad my friend had AAA to tow it. Needs some love, outside is iffy, seems solid, insides pretty decent but idk, hoping for used parts in the classifieds. annnyyywhoooo...heres a crap picture from tonight, will post MAAANY tomorrow.

camera broke coincidentally, went out to check out the radiator, found out either there was mud clogging or some kinda horrible deposits clogging the radiator up. horrible shit, planning on buying a new radiator, thermostat and hoses. i wanna know how to flush out the cooling ports in the engine just incase without pulling it out, any suggestions?

update: need a new radiator, thermostat housing, and i wanna find out how to flush out the coolant passages because thanks to arizona tap water, my coolant passages are full of rusty sludge. on the bright side, I removed the power steering and a/c compressor, im going for a cleaner engine bay

update(for anyone that cares lol): Getting a student loan, planning on getting a radiator, a e-fan kit from lcengineering, and other stuff that'll come to mind. if it turns out to be in good running cond after, I'll be shooting for some Diamond racing 14x10 0 offset with maybe 165/55/14 around that ballpark then lower.

I wanna swap out my crap 3spd with a w50, anyone had experience with that? I'd image all I'd need would be the tranny, pedal assembly, slave cylinder and linkages right?

forgot to update this, more focused on stanceworks lol.

I went in another direction and found mk2 supra p-type rims for $100 in decent cond.
Polishing them right now, 2 days ago had the worst time installing drop blocks, had to bore out the bottom plate and a whole mess of dremel work. only dropped the left side lol.

got my student loan in and just ordered lcengineering thermostatically controlled Efans, a new waterpump, thermostat housing and a haynes book just incase.

posting up pics later(have to resize unfortunately)
