    Chopped N600 Looks

My dad and I are exploring what to do with his N600 that someone went and cut the roof off of and then left it in the back seat.

I was pushing for a pickup and then for a chopped top with a shave. Nothing is really doing it for him, but I thought I'd share:

    Nice job with photoshop

While I like the looks of the chop, it's just not feasable on these cars unless you're on the short side..

I looked into chopping mine (3.5" front / 2.5" rear- anything less seems too much work for too little gain) but it just doesn't work for me.. I'm 6'2", and need every inch of headroom that Honda gave (even with smaller than OEM seats laid back a bit and wayyy down on the floor).. Not only that, but our windshields are pretty rare.. I'd hate to $crew up more than a few trying to get one cut just right.. also, the other 5 windows are all curved and would need to be replaced with flat glass.. all do-able, but not the direction I ended up going..

Since your top is already cut off (you might want to run a couple of reinforcing frame ribs down your floor pan), what about just running it topless? Maybe lay the windshield back another 3 or 4 degrees and chop it by about 2 or 3"? (so much for not wanting to cut a stock n600 windshield  ) (you could also cut off the chrome around the door glass of course). It would really set the car off..
If you HAD to have a roof, tell dad it would be a chance to learn how to make a removable fiberglass top!

Let us know what you do- it will be different no matter what

I personally think N600 trucks look awesome. As JFbrink mentioned N600 head space isnt the best. When sitting in my N600 I probably only have 2-3" of space. However you may be able to gain a few inches if you chop the seat brackets.

Do post pictures once the work begins.

dude!!! im lovin the choptop!! huge fan of the tiny cars and this is about as small as it gets xD
as always the head clearance is an issue. more that likely will need to chop down the originals (if possable) or find some low low riding seats =/
either way im all for it!
excited to see what you two agree what to do with it ^^
any one have a pic of a n600 with a bed? would love to see how it would look =]

Sorry, I always forget to renew with my site host in time & so the site goes down a few days in July every year.

It's back up for all to enjoy.

    Best,

    Jesse.
