    1969 Unicab

My friend gave me an information about this 1969 Unicab.
I still thinking for buying it or not. The owner want US$ 1.000 for this.
    It's probably the KR85 with G151.
Engine is not running, the carburetor is gone.
Still have to check it, maybe next week.

    Is it worth to build?
I don't have many literature for it, can someone help me?

I recognize that I have to search for pair of front mirror, front sign lamps and horn button. Front seats also looks different.

    Regards,
    Andy

That's pretty darn cool. I have never seen one of those before. Are they habouy the same size as a Suzuki Sierra. Or a dihatsu rocky??

It based on Isuzu Wasp frame. The size is between Sierra and SWB Trooper (or Rocky). Compare it with Willys Jeep and Toyota FJ40 on the side.

I would love to have one of those. For $1000, I would buy it and hope for the best!

I still don't have time to look and buy that Unicab. Usually nobody want Japanese 2WD RV, so that Unicab will stay there for another decade. But who knows..
The papers said that the unicab is out of the road since 2005.

    Re: 1969 Unicab

Another Unicab that I found on my way to the office. The place is nearer than the blue one.

I've talk to the owner and take some photos. It's probably the early generation (1967-1968) with G130 engine.

The previous owner has change the soft door with hard panel door and paint it, but not in a good condition.

The recent owner said that he will keep the Unicab and try to restore it. I promise him to share many information to do the restoration.

    I just found this page:

I want one sooooo bad!! I wonder if I should contact my car shippers and see what bringing a car over from Indonesia would actually cost.

Never heard about the cost, but probably the bureaucracy is the hardest (and most expensive) things.
