'75 Celica pulled out of Detroit River-

Found out about this two weeks ago, finally get a picture of it

    http://www.freep.com/article/20090701/N ... y+vehicles

Detroit police yanked about 12 cars out of the Detroit River a few weeks ago, and one was reported as a "1972 Toyota Celica". It ended up being a '75, but still, it's interesting nonetheless.

They're running VINs on all the cars dragged up to see if they were stolen or involved in crimes or whatnot. They had all been there a pretty good length of time, the Celica looks better, amazingly, than anything else that got dragged up, which is quite a shocker. Among the other cars were a '86 Mercury Lynx, some frame of a '70s Chevy truck, a '57 Buick 4-door, a Ford Fairmont, and I can't remember the rest.

Anyhow, here's the Celica. Only pic I have.

Well.... at least it was just a coupe, and not the liftback version.
