I really like them too. I got to sit in one this past weekend and realized I'd never own one. Once I got in, I couldn't get my foot on the pedals because my knees wouldn't clear the steering wheel! I figure I could drive it if the door was open! ops:

Here's some Sports 800 eye candy for you to drool over...

From my 2005 trip to Japan...
    Toyota Automobile Museum...

    From my 2006 trip...
Yokohama Toyopet dealer, on the showroom floor with a 2000GT alongside it...

    From my 2007 trip.
    In my friend's repair shop...

    ...a customers car...

    ...and some parts cars.

    From my 2008 trip:
This was at the History Garage in Odaiba...

This one is at the Ikaho collection...

While there I visited with some Sports 800 friends and we went for a road trip and did some sightseeing...

I got to go for a ride... yeah, it's small and a tight fit, but sure as hell was fun!

Here's some short videos I took of my ride in a lil' red Sports 800:

And here's one from my friend's Celica following the Sports 800s...

    Wow!

I don't ever recall seeing a photo with that many 800s in it :tu:

    Is it very cramped?

    Cramped? Yes.
Very? Well, I'm 5'9" and it was a little difficult getting in & out, especially behind the wheel, and even though I didn't drive one on those occasions it was still well worth it!
I have driven one here in the states, for a very short drive, and it wasn't too bad. After all, these are small sports cars, and driving or riding in one you feel like part of the car - it's very intimate!
