    Nissan Laurel 3.0 V6 SGX

    Hallo!
    Here comes pictures from on of my laurel 3.0 V6 SGX



    Nissan Laurel 3.0 V6 SGX was delivered with:
    "Cruisecontrol"," voicewarning" , "sunroof", "air condtion", "level control" ,"digitaal dashboard" and " electrically powered windows" , " electrically powered mirrors", and " electrically
    diversity aerial system"



    Here is on picture of "digitaal dashboard"



    Here comes a picture of the engine.
    This engine has 115 kW and 156 DIN/PS


    At last:
    From 1985 to 1989 it was sold 34 Nissan Laurel 3.0 V6 SGX in Norway.
    so they are unusual to see here in Norway.

    Lovely car! My friend Iwan in Holland has one too. Having had the pleasure of a Y30 with the VG30E engine I think it would go very nicely in a C32, especially as the Laurel has nicer steering and must be a bit lighter. My RB20E does lack the power I remember from the 300C.

    Are you the person I exported a 300C plus spare engine to from the UK?

    looks like the "SGX" trim level meant different things in different countries. New Zealand SGX Laurels didnt have the digital dash, voice warning, cruise control or the auto leveling suspension. It mentions it in the brochure that I still have, but we didnt get it.

    We did get the electric drivers seat though which the controls sit in the tray thingee between the gearlever and the armrest/box between the seats.

    nice looking car,

    VG looks right at home in there(hmm ) thought the C32 only came with a VG30S (carb model sure thats all thats in my service manual)

    like the dash too

    Thanks for the nice comment on my pictures of my Laurel 3.0E SGX.

    This is my 2.8 Turbo diesel RD 28T engine.

    This is my 88 mod, 3.0E SGX, i have buyed this from a older man, which buyed this car new in 88. This care have only gone for about 106 000 km.
    This car have grey interior. I still look like its new.

    Shame, those links not working for me.

    As promised in my PM, here is the one that is/was owned by Roar Berget in Norway. he was the man who I exported the 300C and spare VG30E to.



    And here is the one owned by Iwan Vlaar in Holland. He owns several rather fine cars, including a 130 Cedric 2400 (which he let us use when I got married), South African R31 saloon with RB30E which found in a UK scrapyard, C31 hardtop in need of work and amazing 430 estate.

    hmm wouldn't mind a set of those spots for my laurel

    also tempted to fit a VG30 now :shock:

    Excellent idea! Should be way easier than putting one into 810, and I reckon would be a very nice drive. I liked my Y30s well enough, and here you should have the benefit of less weight, IRS and steering rack.

    Here comes a picture of Nissan Laurel 2.8D lX




    Here we have another car of mine. You can see that this car have a grill.
    The Laurels who has been sold here in Norway, have not been sold with this grill. Its also difficult to find them. I as was lucy and find one on Ebay, from Japan.
    If some of you can help me, finding or know someone that have a grill like that, witch i can buy, it will have been very nice for me.




    Its generel difficult to find parts to Laurel in Norway, so finding special equipment its not very easy. Can some of you please help me find some mudflaps (O`rginal), like in the picture??
