    1989 Honda Integra EX16

Here's an Integra parked at the end of the world, proving that it is actually flat. Just managed to stop it in time before it went off the edge.

It's got a 1.6 DOHC with PGM-FI. D16A2 if I recall, I'm not great at Honda engines. 125hp. Wheels aren't standard bar one on the other side which is a bright yellow spacesaver.

Whilst I'd love to buy all this cheesy Mugen stuff, I think I'll probably just get it sorted out and leave it pretty standard. It's a good car and just needs some bits looking at - brake cables and suchlike.

It's been out of use for a while hence the general dusty look, I'll give it a proper valet when I get it on the road, which shouldn't take that long I don't think. I like the flip-up lights and back doors combo.

    That's about it really.

    Nice!
Investigate underneath that rear wing as soon as you can they often hide rust beneath.

So anyway, I got this into the garage and ordered some work - new radiator and suchlike. Starting to look like it can return to the road in a few weeks.

Only problem at the moment is the idle, it's pretty high. If you disconnect the Vacuum Advance Diaphragm and bypass it, it's fine. Not sure whether that's failure of the diaphragm itself or a symptom of something else. Any way of testing it?

Could there still be some air in the cooling system?
I found mine extremely sensitive to this & still need to bleed it more from the bleed nipple by the thermostat & intake manifold, but also had to clean out some of the plumbing there that were filled with rust deposits after the original waterpump dissolved.
Though now I have to replace clutch as well.
