Fantastic, looks a a really thorough and well done job :tu:

You'd be hard pushed to find anyone in the UK prepared to spend that much time and effort on one of these cars I fear :|

Great to see it being restored! Especially it being a 5dr model, most people only put money and effort into 2/3dr versions of any given model.

Some other interesting cars in that workshop too?

A serial car-buying friend has recently bought this bug-eye 323 auto, very scarce now in the UK.

    OMG

Now I know what the others feel if they see the restoration of my Daihatsu Charade G10 from 1981.

    GREAT!!!

In my case it is also the same, most people restore the 3 door version, not the 5 door version as I restore it.

Did you really got new screws? I give a lot of screws and other parts to galvanize....

Nice work boys, good to see another 323. Hey just a note(you probably know anyhow), have a look under that damn sound deadning under where the wiper motor and arms sit. All three I've had and this one, rust underneath it right where the firewall and the drain panel are welded. Lovely little water leak!
