    My '82 Celica Supra

This is my '82 Supra I've had for over three years now. I bought it from the original owner, with 108,000 miles on it. Its been everything from a beater,to a drift car,to where it is now, which is a semi-restored street car. It has a few mods like ST Springs,T3 Camber plates,Tokico shocks and struts,OBX header, resonator, and muffler, and a Rabid Chimp intake pipe.I've got it to 150k now,and it never misses a beat.It still has a/c,power steering and everything that it came with.

    When I first bought it.

After the drifting phase, starting to restore it.

    As it sits now.

Thanks,It actually sits a bit lower now. That was before the springs. This is the most current photo I have.

Still not quite low enough, but I love the ride,so i'm not going to mess with it.

Re: My '82 Celica Supra (Updated)

So its been awhile, and I thought i'd update what i've done lately. After daily driving for awhile, the clear coat started to fall off,so we began body work again. I decided on white this time. I also wanted to get a little more serious with the suspension,so I went with MR2 struts for the front(tokico Illuminas),ground control coilovers with a 350lb springs, and K-MAC camber plates. For the rear,so far I just swapped out the spring for a 350lb short track spring, but I plan to run some Ford Focus AGX shocks.I also swapped out the wheels for some gold 002's,15x8 and 15x9. Heres some more recent photos. This car was built in my dads pole barn.I love it.

This car is dream to drive!!! I wasnt sure after what he told me he did, thought it would be a little to rough on that light of a car. But after driving it, my plans for my suspension have change quite fast. This car has taken forever, but well worth the final outcome. My work on my supra has begun again in a quick pace since this one is back on the road! :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu: :tu:

You're car looks great. The white paint makes it look really nice.
I had a question on how you went about removing your rear springs?
I've tried before and they didn't want to move at all even with spring compressors on them.

    Re: My '82 Celica Supra

I just unbolted the shock, and used two pry bars, one to hold the control arm down, and the other to pry the spring out. Probably not the safest way,but it worked, and I didn't die.
