    1974 Honda Civic Project RS

I have bought another civic to restore. This time its a 1974 model, registered 1975. It needs a small amount of welding and tidying up before its resprayed in the JDM 1974 Civic RS Sunset Orange colour . Unfortunately I don't have the room or the time to do the necessary tidying up before its painted so ive given this job to a fellow old honda enthusiast that just happens to have his own body shop. Once painted the car will be delivered back to me for the build

    Heres some first pics.

Here's what it should look like right down to the fender mirrors and bumper overiders as ive been collecting these rare parts for years

I had a sample of sunset orange. At first i didnt like it but i was looking at it under artificial light in the kitchen. Having looked at it in the daylight, i think it looks ok.

    73-77 bumper over riders

Coupled with the towel rails this is the look i'm going for

Here's some genuine new old stock honda mirrors as fitted to RS that ive found

I dont have any more pics of the red civic sorry.

For the interior i will fit an overhead console, Deluxe guages, Dash clock, RS steering wheel and fitted rubber mats the same as i have in my 79'. Prbably go with stock seats for now but i'm undecided TBH.

Lots of nice parts going on to this one! I like the blue but it's hard to go wrong with Sunset Orange on these cars. It'll look a treat when finished. Be sure to keep us updated!

You mean like these new and unopened towel rail over riders? I live near a new old stock honda shop. You just pop in and pick stuff right off the shelf
