what tires stretch nicely on 16x8 rims? HELP....

So im looking into getting 16x8 rims from 18racing.com for my 80 Celica...

    2 things:

1- what tires would do a cool stretch on 16x8 rims

2- since Im doing 16" rims, are lowering springs overkill?

    Thanks in advance

If it's for your Celica, I'd suggest a 205/45-16. :tu:

    Perfect Datsun!

How about dropping it, you think its fine as is (stock height) since Im doing 16" rims, or drop it like its hot??

No car is fine at stock ride height. 8)

But if you do stay stock, some 205/50-16's would allow less unsightly fender gap.

    But lower it. Seriously.

Your stock tire size is probably 185/70-14, right?
