    my 76 260z 2+2

    Hello, well i will use this as a chance to introduce myself and my cars.
    Im a man and am in love with JNC, I reside in Australia love my mazda rotarys and nissan/datsun. Sold of the rotarys and now onto different money pits! That about sums it up, on to the cars!

    Currently being restored is my 2+2 was very original when i got her at the start of the year, my plans are to restor and modify respectfully keeping it old school, so no bling rims, modern twin cam etc.

    Ok, so what has been done so far; ZG flares. body was cut and welded by me, with nut inserts tacked in so easy removal.
    The wheels are 15" nissan stockies, had the rears put out to 10" and fronts are 8" painted in 2pac industrial black.

    Future plans;
    Body; respray in factory red, BRE style rear spoiler (not sure), fender mirrors (purchased but not installed)
    Engine; Keep L26 keeps running standard Su carbs and really tidy up the bay, keeps as good original example.
    Or
    L28 run a (weber) blow thru or suck thru turbo setup.

    We yanks tend to avoid 2+2s like the plague but it's so underappreciated, as you have proven with your sexy beast!

    Welcome to JNC!

    I'm new here too. Just wanted to say that both your cars are looking damn good.
    S30 2+2s are giving me funny feelings at the moment, in a good way...

    thanks for the support fellas. I had been keeping an eye out for a 240/260 coupe for a few years and nothing really suited me,(too much rust, too cut up and molested, or too much $$$) fortunately while taking a Sunday drive thru the hills I spotted the 2+2. It was complete and all I could tell was the car had a respray and a bit of bog in its life
    I can tell you that after the high of the initial purchase i did look at the fat rear end and think "what have i done! not a 2+2"
    :roll:
    but once the guards were cut i was dedicated to getting it on some wheels and taking a second look.

    MattDaKav thanks for the pic, the grey 2+2 was def inspiration to keep rolling on the 2+2.

    some more pic for viewing pleasure!

    As you can see quite a bit of beaver panel work to be done. also need a new rear bumper or clean the back up and run without.
    opinions welcome;

    some more hr love!

    Welcome to the board!

    I was never much of a 2+2 fan, but it's been growing on me recently. Yours has definitely added to that feeling =D
