Lowering the wagon... what gives good ride???

Like the title says, I'm dropping the wagon: 2.5". Does anyone know a part #/vehicle of shorter REAR shocks that would work?
    Thanks in advance.

    owering

if youre using a lowering block youre not changing the shocks height and lenght. what you need to do is shorten the bump stop rubber and maybe get a stiffer shock absorber. Im using KYB gasadjust w/c is stiff enough for me.

    lowering

The front setup Im not sure, maybe get a same circumference spring and cut it short, maybe someone can help you find a harder spring rate.

comfortwise you can't beat blocks, but not to use for handling or horsepower

i'm using bilsteins from a toyota landcruiser, you just re-use the factory crushtube
but those might be too stiff for your liking

What part # are those landcruiser shocks?

Well, with cars this light, compared to heavier cars using the same type of blocks(Mustangs, Camaros, etc.), the handling/hp issue shouldn't factor too heavily.

I'm using blocks and am looking for a shock, not overly harsh but will handle luggage and tag-alongs - me and the wife will be using it for local getaways and weekend cruising.

My wagon might see some added hp, in time, but it's a wagon. I'm not gonna auto-X or drift it - just cruising and some occasional highway "floating".

Much appreciated, matt. Just trying to get a feel for what offers a decent ride - not rock hard, not too squishy. I tend to favor a bit stiffer than stock.
    Thanks again.
