I did it again...
I feel guilt every time I see a low mile piece of j-tin. This time I had to buy since it was just 30 minutes from my house in Seattle.
Nice '78 Datsun 810 wagon sans wood grain. 60k survivor from an estate. Owner bought it new in 78 for his wife, now I can enjoy it.
Auto, A/C (in op), CB radio, dual power mirrors, plaid seats and everything on this car is super clean. Needs lots of love just from sitting SO long. Last really driven 5 years ago. Runs and drives now but going to go through it to make sure everything is back to original.
I pick up the car tomorrow morning.
Great find! loving those wood trim panels on the side!! :tu: :tu:
 Holy mother of Clean wagons! What a beauty...congrats. :tu:
That's amazing! So you're planning on keeping it original, then?
Had the car flat-bedded home today and pulled it into the garage... And pulled out the CB radio screwed to the console
Going through the car to make sure everything is good before I start it again.
Here is what I found:
Spark plugs are barely finger tight
Rotor and cap are super old
Oil filter & oil was last replaced in May of 2007!!!
Gas filter has clamps that are also finger tight
Not going to even start the car until everything is in order THEN I will see what else it needs.
It will be back to original in no time.
OMG.... you lucky man you .. DAMN lucky you... love it in it original look :tu: :tu:
oh .. and the 154 hp is just the engine with out anything bolted on to it .... so its not net. HP
