    1972 Isuzu Florian

Just a short message from me: I've finally bought another JNC (had a Corolla KE15 a few years ago), it's this beauty:

It's a Florian that was registered in Holland early in 1972, the last year Isuzus were sold here (the first Japanese brand to be sold here, from 1963). Plans are to get some welding done or to buy fenders for a Chevy LUV (anyone happen to have some? ), that was based on the Isuzu KB pickup, that was based on the Florian... then a good wash, a road check and then some cruising hopefully. I'll post some more pics when there has been some progress.

    More pics here.

Funny you said that. As soon as I saw the front end photo I thought "wow that looks a lot like a Chevy LUV"... :P

Cheers guys - that's quite a nice LUV, the whole front (bodywork at least) is the same, so the Florian has space for the conversions they do... V8 Florian is possible (but not probable :wink!

Sounds interesting, maybe you can take some pics and mail me - it might yield some good small parts. I don't know if it's 4-lug or more, that's the big difference between the LUV (6-lug) and the Florian. Thanks in advance!
