    new to the scene..

not so new with nissan, but i was wondering if anyone had compiled a list of cross over parts that will fit the Hakosuka??

like what parts from Z's will fit and so forth??

im in the military and want to take a hako back to the USA with me, BUT don't know how i will ever find parts to keep it up and running such as brake parts and suspension components..

and i really cant afford to stock pile a life times worth of this stuff HAHA

    Auto Hobby Shop?

You're at Missawa Air Base right? I think that Gen LeMay's insistence on well equipped auto hobby shops has not yet gone by the boards there. Go talk to the NCO in charge and the senior Japanese National mechanical helpers who work at the hobby shop. I'm sure that they can get you the intrchangeability data you are liiking for, or with typical Japanese ingenuity how available parts can be made to fit. Good Luck!

Most (if not all) of the brakes/suspension stuff can be substituted with other stuff once you get back here. :tu:

Nothing is a perfect match, but for example you can swap in 280ZX front struts (big brake upgrade too!) when you get it back here. Then all the front stuff is easy to get. A lot of the rear bits can be borrowed from other models, too...

The tricky bit is trim pieces, not mechanical parts. Unless you buy one with a G-series engine. Don't do that. :P

    yea, im at misawa..
i will talk to those guys once i pick the car up and see everything i want to replace.

i figured most of the 280 stuff would swap over.
the car im buying has an L series motor, so i should be fine mechganics wise, just wondering about axles and hubs and steering components and brakes.. shouldnt be too hard to swap stuff over i would imagine..
