    RT-72 Corona MK2 restomod...

So I have a thing for the RT72. here is my new one as I got rear ended with my old one.

this is my old one before it got rear ended.

Got another one 2 weeks later... stripped it and...

    Then out to paint shop!

Total transformation into a red car. got the interior parts done like the headliner and carpet too. now the pain in the ass part of putting all back together...

I made up a log type manifold for a T25 flange turbo. Not as pretty as some fancy stainless thing but it will work. This car will be an automatic so want a small turbo with good response. 18RG with EFI would be interesting.

I will be using an old school Blitz water intercooler I got from Japan. This is just a mock up on the wrecked MK2 so no efi yet.

    OLD SCHOOL RULES!!!

Some more goodies that are rare as hens teeth. some KOITO fender mirrors. I will use these on the MK2 MAYBE.... You should see the dust on these things...

Some old school Ultra wires. which one should I use?

Awesome! Glad to see you jumped back into it! I still cry a little when I see the pictures of your old car.
Theres a red RT72 in my hometown, I keep trying to talk to the owner but have managed to yet. Great looking cars!

Did some work on the car but mostly trim, and cleaning work. no big difference here. Plan to use the AU tail lights. what do you think?

gonna polish up that chrome!!! and paint!

Also busted out the NOS GSS emblems I am going to be using on this car.
