    1978 Corona project-now with pictures!

Hello, my name is Bryan this is my rt105 project car.
I've always been into Japanese cars and have had a z31, s13 and s12 as my first three cars, but since they where my only car at the time I could never really tear into them like I wanted to, so this is a whole new experience!

Anyways, I want to be able to drive this every day when I'm done, so its not going to be very extravagant or any thing, but I wanna keep it old school, and fun, I"m in the middle of rebuilding the 20R right now, it had a blown head gasket when I got it (go figure), so I decided that it would be a good opportunity to freshen everything up.

I have some pictures right now but the forum wont let me post them yet , so your going to have to wait for a little bit on that but I will be getting those up as soon as possible!
    :tu:

thanks guys, your cars arent to shabby either!
I"m glad there are corona owners on this board, when I got the car I was like " oh crap, I'm going to have to figure everything out by my self!"
Progress on the car has slowed down unfortunately, as I have the flu, and still have to work, I'm not as motivated as I have been.
but I will keep you posted!

Im kinda in the same situation. Never had a dd AND project going at the same time. I picked up my FB RX-7 after my saturn but income prevented me from progressing with that car. If i could find a cheap car thats not too embarrassing my Cressi would deff get the attention it deserves. Its tough right now tho, Im telling ya!

ohhh yeah! I remember the thread you started about that, that's very nice!
I"m really sorry to hear it got hit. hope its not to bad.

As for my corona I pulled the motor, and the engine stand I have dosent fit it! only the two bolts on the bottom of the motor line up, no matter how I adjust the top ones they they wont fit! I guess thats what I get for getting a $50 schmucks special. So I have the motor half on the stand, half held up by the cherry picker. not a very convenient way to work on it at all.
