    my mx72 wagon project

well i bought this from a buddy here in town that frequents the forum....a little tint, some rims, and overall attitude adjusment later and heres what we got.

thanks datsun freak for the tire size recommendation it was spot on.

got a airlift helper bag kit for the mazda mpv thats going on the rear (after you chop the springs and bumpstops the 4" tall bags are a perfect fit) cause im gonna tow my track rat with it. the fronts will be t3 later and $99.00 coilover perches w/springs for now. ill let yall know how it comes along as i go.

    for the added torque
ive got everything for the 5mgte conversion except for the FMU that i picked up local for $100. (god i love mk3 supra owners). well thats about all for now but im sure ill find something else to do.....hmmm nardi wheel for sure

yup, ive got family here that has been in the trans service industry forever. he said that a A43DE was a pretty stout trans and would do fine if i was being reasonable with the load.

my track car weighs 2150lbs and the dolly isnt very heavy, ive got a big hayden trans cooler and my trans has been serviced and should be fine. plus my buddy just did a 1jz with r154 5spd swap into his mx73 and he was nice enough to give me another good trans as a spare.

oh and thanks for the compliments everyone

Wow, that is NICE. Those rims and tint go great with the lines of the wagon. Excellent score.

Alright, my trans complains if I have more than one passenger in my car. I was thinking of using mine to tow the RallyCross car on a dolly, but was not considering in untill a 5-spd swap. The RallyCross car is 2000 pounds so I figured with a dolly and a 5spd the 5M might be enough. Let me know how it works out, maybe I will just try to score a new auto trans for now. :tu:
