I am looking for a rear disk brake from a reasonably common, preferably Japanese vehicle, to be used as an upgrade on an older vehicle which never came with rear disk brakes.
I would like to find something that fits the following dimensions:
9 1/2 - 9 3/4 (241-248 mm) outside diameter.
16-20 mm nominal thickness (thickness when new). Vented.
4 x 114.3 bolt pattern.
Floating design, slides over the lug bolts.
Internal emergency brake (shoes inside the center of the disk).
I am trying to size this to match a front disk that is 9.9 inches (248 mm), 22 mm thick, and vented. I may be getting greedy in wanting a vented rear disk, but the goal is something that would be about as hard core as could be fit under 14 inch wheels.
The closest I have found is 1983 Starion, but I can not tell if that one has an internal emergency brake or a combination emergency brake.
Anyone know of anything close to those dimensions?
