    My 1979 Colt

I picked this up a couple weeks back, and have since stumbled upon this site... Has 109k miles on the odometer. It has been repainted at some point, but other than the usual dings and such its actually a very nice car. More pictures here

Plans for this car (which are subject to change) include some "vintage" style racing wheels, if I can find anything affordable... Then maybe an engine swap later on.

I think the wheels would look a lot better on it if it sat a lot lower on them. More modern wheels can look ok on older cars, but the stance has to be right to get away with it. Maybe if the mesh part of the rim was painted a charcoal grey or something it might look better also?

Just to prove how good modern wheels can look

Danturbolancer's car, The best looking Lancer 2 door I have ever seen.

I've located an old set of "mini light style" wheels. I'm just working on getting the guy to part with them... I'm not sure what brand they are exactly, as all the center caps have been replaced, one he gets them off the car I hope to find some markings on them.

Well, if you want to unload the wheels that are on it fairly cheap, let me know.
