    Mazda 1000 bushes?

    Hi all,

I have just acquired a mid 70s Mazda 1000. Does anybody know a source for suspension bushes? I need leaf spring bushes and maybe more bits and pieces. Brake discs, rubber gaitors, etc.

I've checked Ebay of course, and no bushes. Does the 1000 share its suspension with other models?

    Thanks all,

    Charlie

    I think you'd know it as a Mazda 1300. FA3TS.

    Thanks,

The suspension bushes are the same as R100. There are nolathane R100 bush kits that come up on eBay from time to time. Only sway bar bushes may differ because you have the later model sway bar.
Note- R100 brake discs ARE larger but do fit.

Thanks all. Superpro are out of stock and wont make any more.

Rich, if you have any bushes that would be great.

Madaz, if that's right it's very useful info. I have seen the R100 bush kits so may order one.

    Cheers,

    Charlie

Someone I checked with today reckoned the R100 and Mazda 1000 bushes are different?

Can anybody help me out by letting me know where I can find a set of Mazda 1000 leafspring bushes? And if they are the same as any other Mazda.

    I'll do more research...

    Thanks,

    Charlie

Mazda 1200/1300/R100 are identical at least in the front suspension I know from experience. I assumed 1000 would be the same.

But don't forget that his mazda 1000 is actually our equivalent mazda1300. So Charlie start looking for bush kits in Australia/NZ for mazda 1300. :tu:
