My '88 Starion (DUW - pics)

Figured I would toss up some pics of my '88 Starion. It's been a battle royale with this car to make it nice, here's some of the highlights.

    4G54:
    8:1 Wiseco forged pistons - 20 over
    Non MCA-Jet head.
    Balance shafts removed
    Reciprocating assembly balanced
    2.5 turbo back Magnaflow exhaust
    14G Turbocharger
    1G MAS
    355 LPH fuel pump
    Recurved distributor
    Stage 4 6 puck clutch
    15 pound flywheel

    Rest of car:
    Palermo Gray Metallic
    Black velour '86 interior
    Sunroof
Swapped to digital dash from '87 Technica
    Polished wheels
    Reproduction Starion GSR-VR decals
    Premier Bluetooth stereo

    How about some pics?

I never knew beige could look this good! Sweet car; I'm oddly drawn to that colour.

    Clean!
Don't know why, but seeing the digital dash and 88mph, my mind automatically wants me to ask if you plan on going back to the future?

Shaun, you're right... 83 Starions are limited to 85 MPH... LOL...

The later Technica dashes would go up to 155 MPH according to the FSM.

We actually tossed a function generator on the speedometer input and got Ulrich's instrument panel to max out at 158.
