My friend's MX-3. 20 years is nostalgic, right?

I went out for a photo shoot with my friend Ariel Barcia yesterday to take some pics before he sells this thing. If you're looking for a beater or parts car around Detroit or NYC, lmk.

cloudy day, bright car. I had a lot of trouble getting these to look anywhere near acceptable.

    Here's his next to mine.

    Nice camera!
Personally I would try out some different camera angles. Nearly all of them are from the same height. Low camera angles often make a car look better.
Also I would go with a slightly warmer color balance, but then again it's pretty hard to capture a white car just right.
I also just started doing photography, so definately go with your own vision on color. Some original camera angles would really make things more interesting though.
    Keep at it!

I don't really like the mx3's headlights myself. Also nearly all of them here have been fitted with humongous bodykits. Good luck with the sale though :tu:

I dig this, but hammer is right on with how he could make it look tons better with only a few bucks.

Not Nostalgic yet, methinks that's 25 years (for most of us). 20 years qualifies for Historic plates in most areas though, like my MX73. I'm sure some people here will argue that no car after 19xx will ever be Nostalgic, but that's bunk. People with Flathead Fords are probably saying the same thing about 1960's Crowns, doesn't make them right either.

I like these cars, but I think he needs to take it in a different direction, either go full-on "period correct" with early 90's Volk CV Pros or Lover Souls or slam the snot out of it.

I vote for the former, for the record.

My guess is this one is the 4 banger. No rear spoiler tells me it is a 4 cylinder,or someone changed the hatch out.

Based on that tiny pic of the engine, I'd agree. :tu:

FYI I think the V6 models were GS models.
