    1977 - RT115 - Corona Project

    Hi Guys:

Just want to share my 77 Corona Project.

Started to strip down the car.

    Pics:

    Plans:

Correct the ride height, PO, have 3" lowering block
Rebuild the 20r Motor - Thinking Hybrid 22r Block 20r Head - Mikuni / Weber Side Drafts, headers, Magnaflow Exhaust
New Paint - Still undecided on the color
    New Wheels - 16x8??
Interior - Have Supra Seats from an 85 p-type

Will post new pics as I work on the car. Summer is here, so hopefully I can get engine out and send it for paint.

    Thanks for Looking

Looks like that will be a fun project. I say that the hybrid 22r/20r will be perfect for that car. And for color go for like a semi-gloss black or just reg black. All classic japanese cares look good in black. Keep us updated.

The non-US style bumpers are not too hard to find. It's just the shipping from Aus to the USA that is a killer because of the size and weight.

    Cheers,
