    My newest Colt

Just picked up a nice 72' Colt today.

    Here are a few pics

Overall, the car is in nice shape. Body is very straight, interior is pretty nice, dash looks very good, paint is shiny (has been repainted in the original color), and seems to run good. Brakes drag a bit but stop ok. As for plans, I'm not real clear on that yet. I am leaning towards the sleeper look, including the steelies (but widened), sprucing up the interior, and going turbo under the hood- maybe EVO power? I have plenty of time to figure it out. The main thing is it's nice and safe in my garage.

Nah, I have 2 mitsu's, 1 Mazda, 2 Honda's (soon to be 1), 1 Toy, and 4-count them- 4 DATSUNS! While I'm expanding the collection, the 1200 and 240Z are my favorites, so Datsunrides stays. :tu:

I love that Colt. Always wanted one of those...

The only ones I ever see around here are the '74+ big bumper models...

I've been trying to find one myself for a while. The ones I found up to this point have been WAY overpriced AND had rust issues. (or were 4 doors) I got this one for $1500 + some Chevy parts for trade. Big plus is the current tags. No back fees for me! I think it was a pretty good deal. :tu:

nice find! was this the car on cardomain?

if i was you, i'd mod or not mod the car depending on what degree my other cars were modded or not modded. does that make any sense?

No, but it does look a lot like that one, doesn't it. This one was on Craigslist in S. El Monte. I plan to do a lot of mods (easily reversable) under the skin. Mostly suspension and drivetrain while keeping the exterior stock appearing.
