I'd roll like that when the time comes. They just need to sort out the range now.....
The enviromentalists do seem to forget how the electricity is made that powers the car and the processes involved in making and disposing of the batteries though
That's pretty cool, but that guys a bit to uptight, and kind of a goober.
I agree he is very cocky and overbearing. His 1200 is quick, 11.5 Qtr mile is blazing fast.
Ironic that his electric car needs to be plugged in to be charged, and that electricty probably comes from a coal fired Power Plant!!
And annoying that at the end he says "and we did all this without producing ANY pollution!".Originally Posted by slownrusty
Yeah, that electricity just appears by magic at the outlet...
But I really do want an electric 1200 some day. I only drive 10 miles a day for work, so it would be perfect for me. And with those lightweight batteries he has...
that is pretty cool and the power does come from a coal fired electrical plant but also from hydro electricity from Bonneville Dam
If I ever catch that guy I will try to get him on here lol, he is in the portland metro area by the looks of it
Wow thats silly. I totally agree with you guys about the dude.
I was thinking the same thing.Originally Posted by slownrusty
These old 1200s seem ideal for this setup because of their light weight and RWD layout.
I wouldn't mind having one either
Also, we had a post about this a while back:
