    I vaguely recall (the whole electrical saga is one thing I'm trying to erase from my memory!) that the indicator can be removed from the column quite easily, you can lift out this whole ring that contains the switch mechanism to clean it.

    I pulled mine out to test it, might be worth doin in your case? Also...for some reason, I don't know why, I think the indicators somehow ground via the horn relay in the engine bay. I recall I cleaned up the ground there and it started to work.

    hey greenmonster did you get anywork done over weekend i was stuck putting my front end back together....hey i just picked up rb30 shortblock too...
