    Camry ignition tumbler

ok now that my neighbor just bought a 86 Camry I will be visiting this side of things too lol.

Now for the question. This car has a sticky ignition tumbler that requires that he has to jiggle the key enough to get it to turn from the off position.

    Any help will be appreciated.

Are you wanting to know where to buy a new one? Or if it can be repaired?

Or does he need help jiggling it? :P

I am just looking at the cheapest route first, we are going to try lubing the tumbler first and then go from there. If it involves disabling the key buzzer that is fine considering he can't hear it anyways.

Are you sure it's not a worn key?

    x2.

A lot of times this "problem" can be solved with a new key. That is step #1, and oddly enough the cheapest fix. :tu:
