    Identify these!! SSR DARAS???

Hey all you jdm wheel junkies, bought these from yahoo japan a few months ago, but cannot find any info or sign that they are indeed rare etc.
They have Speed star and DARAS written on the back. Anyway, its either super rare or some sort of fake!
    Anyway, behold.....

If they have Speed Star stamped on em, they should be real. My EX-Cs have it stamped on em, too. So I know they're the real deal.

yeah, and under some old scum there is a sticker with ssr on it, so my guess is they are a genuine wheel. However, i want to know whats the deal is with them. I have never heard or be able to see or find any others of them! Perhaps its time they made an addition to the rare jdm wheel wall!!

UPDATE: I sent an email to ssr directly to see if they had any records of them, and i got e reply from a gent named Nat, who identified them as being made in 1983 by the easy rider company in japan, so they are not infact SSR. This puzzles me as they have speed star written on the back, but they also have easy rider so i think he is probably right. He found them in a japanese wheel dicionary!! Got to get me one of those!!!
Anyway, case solved, anyone know much about easy rider co. They seem to not be around anymore, but it would be nice to see other wheels they produced during their production times....

Interesting.. nice to see you found out what type of wheels you got. Although, I think SSR must have some sorta say in the making of your wheels, since they did stamp their logo on them.

A lot of smaller wheel manufacturers were either swallowed up by bigger companies like SSR, or a small tuning house could have commissioned SSR to build them. I don't know the exact history of this wheel, just throwing out some possible explanations.
