compomotive 13x11 on the back of a 78 lancer

I got bored and decided to toss these on to see how they fit. To my suprisem they are about perfect. Some fender flares and I could probably make it look real nice. I could probably drive it as is right now as thats the way it will sit when on the ground. All that tire gets me excited.

naw, I have a source for some 13x8 though

I dont plan on running these.... yet

I like the rear view of the car with all that tire. Almost looks like a damn drag car lol.

Way back in the mid 70s I ran 13X9s under my 72 with flairs. That car was light and quick. Unfortunately I was hit head on by a drunk the year I was headed of to collage so the car ended up being scrapped. I should scan some of the prints of it.

id love to see some pictures of it charlie.

I iomagine with 9s up front and 11s in back this thing would stick to pavement like glue with modern slicks

It's too bad they dont sell wide street tires in 13 anymore. I did find some dot legal avon 245 series tires for 13 wheels, but they are 250 a piece. I'll probably see if I can find some 205 or 225 13 and get them stretched on after I refinish the wheels. I'm almost scared to drive wit the wheels on the roads around here. These things are definately made just for racing. Extremely light.

Some subtle flareage and they'd probably fit nicely
215/60/13 would be best for looks if you go the stretched route, though you'd probably have to get them from J-land
