People have been making choppers out of Honda's classic SOHC engine (CB750, 550, 500, 400, 350) since they were new in the '70s. I believe that's an Angel frame. The plunger rear suspension is a dead giveaway. Japanese engines are great for choppers. They don't all have to be H-D Big Twins. One of my favorites was a chopper that used the triple from a Yamaha XS850.

I snapped those pics last month, then saw this on craigslist today:

Never really even knew this sort of thing existed. :P

Girder front end and dual headlights is very '70s. There are still a few of them out there. They're starting to make a comeback, too. I think a lot of people are getting tired of the me-too H-D or S&S engines. I saw a guy on a Suzuki DOHC (GS1000 or 750) engined chopper a couple of months ago. Hardtail, drag bars, and an all-black engine. It looked badass.

check this out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWyRmuiTawo I sure wish their site still had the animations up of how the motor works cause it was very cool how they used 2 crankshafts and mating them, via gears, together.
