1970 to early 1980 stickers (for a station wagon) - update!

    okay guys

I've got a former track day RX-4 clone wagon, and I'm basically trying to track down stickers (or at least pictures of them) from the '70s and early '80s for the rear side windows - you know, stuff you used to stick on while on a road trip or for speed parts etc.

So far I've got some from parts of Australia I've been to recently, a few forum stickers (Auszoku.net etc), but I'm after some Japanese ones or if anyone has seen one, a Mazda Sports Corner sticker.

I've also got a Moon eyes one, Weber and a copy of an original Mazda service sticker, but I was also thinking of one for Enkei wheels (if they were around then)

    Thoughts? Anyone got any leads?

Route 66 are probably one of the best for period speed decals, but that said, ebay might be worth a shot.

They tend to keep decals for Mooneyes, Speco, STP, all the old American speedparts brands etc.

1970s-early 80s is probably more Racing Beat than Mazda Sports Corner.

Forgot, I'm looking for two other stickers as well, one's a

"I got my 'Stones at Parnelli Jones" - I saw that one on the back of a Pinto in a US magazine, and apparently there's another sticker that did the rounds saying "Gurney for President". that sounds pretty cool.

Gambit where did you find the car maker pictures?

Wall Drug is a drug/general store in South Dakota, They have been selling bumper stickers for a while and are one of the more common ones I've seen.
    Wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wall_Drug

The logos I found on this site:
    http://www.cartype.com/
They are just the logos, The site does not sell stickers, it should be easy enough to get them cut from vinyl by a local shop

The mazda stickers I found on google, oddly enough with the search string "old mazda stickers"
    Tetsuya Garage http://tginferno.blogspot.com/2010/0...-stickers.html
I believe they are in Japan, but the site is in english and prices in dollars, so they are probably friendly

I found the sports corner book/brochure I was talking about.

Has anyone ever seen a copy or what is inside?

I would love to get a Mazda Sports Corner decal or sticker.

these are some of the stickers going onto the wagon:

Coincidentally, that Mazda dealer was at the end of my street and just closed recently. I used to go there nearly a decade ago to buy parts for my 1300.

Melbourne members or other Aussies may remember these..

    Hi gambit

yep! that site is great, I wish a similar site existed for 1300s or RX-4/Luces

I have also seen someone in Australia with the same brochure/catalogue but I think it was in a collection.
