Well I checked all my sources and none say that motor exsists. It might be some sort of hybrid and someone made that sticker.

Could it be a 3TC with a 4AG head and accessories? I know that the 4AG guys are building 7AGs now. They combine the block, crank and rods from the 7SFE with the pistons and head from the 4AGE making it a close to 2.0 4AGE, which they call the 7AGE. I guess they are ready for boost and all since the 7SFE comes with a metal head gasket from Toyota. There are threads about it over on Club4AG. I would check over there as well for info about this engine.

there are 3AC, 4AC, 4AF, 7AF any of these engines with a little work can have a 4AG head put on it. so it's possible that this guy used a 3AC bottom end along with a 4AGZE head.

Probably a 3A with the G head and super charger added on. And no they don't use the 7S to make a 7AGE they use a 7AF motor and it puts it at 1.8L not 2.0

Sorry, I get confused with the toyota engine numbers sometime. Give me a 20/22R maybe a 22RE and I am good. Past that I get 'em mixed up quite frequently

    Hehehehe, "auze".

    I would assume its just simply a 4a-gze. A 4a-g head wouldn't fit on a 3a bottom end as a 4a has a bore of 81.0mm where a 3a has a bore of 77.5mm.

Anyway, that is without doubt a "g" head but there is no g on the sticker.

    Definitely just a silly sticker.

Cold be two things, someone being a silly bugger. Or perhaps trying to fool the registration authorities.

Over here we never got 4AGE equipped cars from the factory of any type in rear drive configuration. If you fit one as many do, it requires an engineers inspection which costs money and may turn up stuff the owner is not keen to have found i.e. aftermarket computers etc.

Some people try and get away with it by registering a simple engine change, as the engine numbers all start with 4A. I don't think we got any 3A engined cars in Aust, whereas they did in New Zealand.
