Photo? If you mean the switch on top of the pedal assembly, they are fairly universal.

yeah pull it out and take it with you to the yard...these are probably made by third parties like Mitsubishi and Hitachi anyway... check old japanese cars till you find something that will work...

It's a pressure operated switch that screws into the master cylinder.

you might want to take it down to a place that specializes in volkswagon bugs and see if they have a replacement from like say a 1970 bug that would work in your application, if not I will see how my 76 is sat up like since I finally have my car at the house now

Oooo... Got one of those on my friend's Lotus 7. He hates it because it doesn't work very well while sitting at a stoplight. Not very safe.

I would strongly advise you to wire in a switch on the pedal. Easy enough to do...

    It's not. :P

    It's a Birkin S3.

But I'd bet any car with a hydraulic switch is going to have the same problem. When sitting at a stoplight you aren't pressing on the pedal hard enough to activate the light.

If you stick with the pressure switch try your local Motorcycle shop. Lot's of older bikes used them, mostly for the rear brake.
