Stunning cars, great write-up and beautiful pictures...

However I can't help but feel that it's always the same handful of classic Japanese cars that run with all the attention. It's a shame as there is really soooo much cool JNC on offer... :|

This is a fair point. If you go to any Bookstore which sells Japanese car magazines, you'll almost certainly see a cover with a GTR on at least one of them.

I think, though, that this is a universal characteristic of car magazines. Euro classic car mags seem to feature more Daytonas, E Types, and 911s on the cover than, say, an Audi or Volvo. It can get kind of monotonous.

I guess you're right. It probably does happen across the board within classic cars. And you can of course even argue that it should, because really, who in his right mind would question the icon status of an E-type and 911 or a 2000GT and Hakosuka!! But for those of us who know that there is (luckily) soooo many other goodies out there, it's still a shame. And at least in the euro publications, you will on the odd occasion see a Fulvia, a Alfa Bertone, a TR6 or even some BMW CSi on the cover. When did you last see a Isuzu Bellett, Corona Coupe or 610 on the cover of a mag...??

Current issue of Nostalgic Hero has a Subaru 360 on the front. This makes me happy :-)

On another note, the Cosmo 110 is the closest car I can think of to the 2000GT. Given as the 2000GT has just shot up to being a million-dollar car, that raises one obvious question - as a rotary fan, should I try to buy a Cosmo now, before prices become truly stratospheric?

Putting aside the Honda content in the latest Nostalgic Hero, but just to close the circle, the photographer who this great set also made my Seiko diver strap... Synchronicity. Neko.
