JNC Car Prep (Wash Detail) Where to?

Since the forum crashed, the thread I started with good car wash detail shops in the Long Beach area is gone. You guys posted some good spots.

I detailed the Impulse yesterday, spent 10 hours on it in total. This car's old paint was really dirty, but now that I gave it a thorough polishing and waxing, it is looking clean and shiny again. However after the 8 hour drive to LA, I know I will need to have it washed and waxed again, so where's the good spots near the Queen Mary?

    Thanks - Bart

    Hey Bart-

If nothing pops for you on this thread and you need a place, you can use my house/driveway/hose/etc. on Friday (the wife and I will be at work)... I'm in Bakersfield (still a few hours from Long Beach), but you could take your time and not be worried..

btw- quite a distance for you-- I'll keep an eye out for your Impulse at the show.. I'm in an N600 with SpongeBob on the side- stop by and say hi :tu:

I'm not rolling out until early Sat am.. send a PM if you want to stop in..

Thanks, Dean, for the offer. We will be in LA all day Friday doing other stuff, so likely I will just find a wash near the hotel and do it up. It shouldn't take much more than a good wash and a few minutes on the inside and hand waxing to make it shine again.

I will certainly stop by the Spongebob mobile!

I'm gonna be in LA all day Friday as well! I'm leaving Santa Barbara at 10am, cruising through Mulholland, and should be in LA at around noon. I'm going to get my car washed in the Hollywood area at Express Hand Wash. It seems like a pretty good place for a detail. http://www.yelp.com/biz/express-hand-wash-los-angeles

If you have any spare time, it would be nice to meet up!

Check out the detailersdomain/detailingbliss forum for a good detail location and products. I've also tried AMMONYC products and they are top notch as well.
